We are a research team at the University of Wyoming studying forests, fire, and landscape ecology in temperate forests. We use a combination of field-based data, remote sensing, and process-based modeling to tackle questions at scales ranging from individual trees to entire regions. Our research focuses on climate- and disturbance-mediated changes to the structure and function of forest ecosystems, and how these processes collectively shape forest resilience through time.
